Awful. About a week ago at work I opened an existing (completed) document to use it as a template for a new document. Many changes later and I clicked Save. Not Save As. Completely overwrote my completed article. Ugh! Hours of work down the tubes.

I am SO sorry about that! This happens to me all of the time and it always makes me want to cry in frustration. Sometimes it happens that I saved it in a different place than usual. Sometimes (for example), I am looking for the May newsletter and so I search the May files, when in fact I wrote it the last day of April, so I should be looking in the April files. I recently discovered all of this lost stuff that had been saved to this strange temporary folder by accident. However, I have also had things totally deleted or lost that I swear I saved. So I can totally relate.
